Sublimation Printing Advantages
Sublimation printing is an indelible process that turns the marking material from a solid to a gas. It works best with polyesters and polymers, but can also be used with metal sheets and fabrics. The clarity is exceptional and the printing can’t be scratched away like with silk screening.
Sublimating Hanging Tags
Examples of this process include the hanging tags that a supplier of water treatment systems uses with valves. RAND Manufacturing also uses sublimation printing to mark tags that are used for the electrical wiring on a rail car. Both tags are made of aluminum sheets.
