RAND Manufacturing makes die cut automotive fasteners from adhesive tapes. We also supply die cut automotive washers. RAND does not serve consumers directly. Instead, we supply die cut adhesive tapes and other die cut materials to automotive suppliers who want an alternative to cumbersome mechanical fasteners and messy liquid adhesives.
Die Cut Automotive Fasteners
The die cut automotive fasteners that we supply bond irregular surfaces together while filling gaps and dampening vibrations. These die cut tapes seal out the elements and can resist water. Because adhesives have viscoelastic properties, these die cut fasteners help to reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) and buzz, squeak and rattle (BSR) in cars.
Automotive die cutting for NVH and BSR can support quieter vehicle interiors and increased customer satisfaction. Annoying, repetitive sounds are unpleasant and suggest low quality, poor workmanship, and an inferior design. Die Cut Tapes and Die Cut Washers
Die cut tapes have a peel-and-stick release liner for ease of assembly. They are effective in heat, cold, and humidity and maintain their strength in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time. Die cut adhesive tapes are also easier to install in hard-to-reach places. By contrast, mechanical fasteners require hand tools or industrial robots or automated systems.
